Technique Development

    The R&D of Fujian South Highway Machinery Co., Ltd is classified as the Provincial grade of Fujian Province. There is central office, R&-
D offices (5), Overseas Technology division (Italy), design department, Trial-manufacture workshop, testing base, network center, informa-
tion department and file department. There are 5 R&D offices in charge of soil-cement mixing equipment, concrete mixing equipment, mixer and batching station, asphalt mi-
xing equipment and electric control system respectively.
    There are 57 R&D technician accounts for 10% of total company personnel. There a-
re 16 Superior technicians, 25 intermediate technicians and there are 6 persons who are professionals in R&D. We send technician group abroad to visit, learn and interact in order to match the international R&D standards.
    We concluded technology cooperation contract with College of Construction Machinery of Chang’An University on April 2001. We setup Joint R&D center to utilize the advantages of scientific talents, professional expertise, research and production of both parties. We also s-
etup R&D labs in both locations to develop mixing equipments with Chinese knowledge rights. We aim to make Chinese mixing equipments up to the international standards.
    Besides this, we build up extensive technology cooperation with various universities and colleges such as ChangSha Academy of Construction Machinery, Fuzhou University, HuNan University, Science Academy of DOT. We also hire ove 10 professionals worldwide to form consulting group to further upgrade our R&D level.
86 engineers and professionals use computer-aided design as the basic method such as CAD, Pro/E and PDM. They also carry out p- arallel interacting design with our European R&D center via Internet. We develop soil-cement equipment, concrete mixing plant (tower) and asphalt mixing equipments and several technologies wins national patents.
